We design and manufacturer custom electronics for domestic heating, industrial control, patient handling and automotive applications. We specialise in temperature, pressure, motor control, embedded and PC software, heating, industrial and low power radio.

A M Bromley Limited was founded in 1997 by Andrew and Mandy Bromley who had a vision to supply innovative electronic solutions to the market.

Whilst remaining a family company we have expanded to now employ expert Engineers in both analogue and digital electronics, high level language programming, technician Engineer support, Sales and marketing and office management.

We are based in Buxton; a good central location with the added benefit of being a beautiful town. We can offer a total solution from design and software to manufacture helping you to realised your product"s full potential.

Forging partnerships with our customers and designing solutions specific for their needs is the key to our success. The combination of electronic design expertise and the understanding of manufacturing constraints means that the product is developed as an integral part.

Products are designed in accordance with relevant standards (normally BS EN 60730 part 1) and marked where appropriate. Full type approvals can be arranged as required.

From embedded micros to Web Servers

Electronic solutions increasingly benefit from embedded microprocessors and connection to PC for advanced control and monitoring.

We typically program small microprocessors such as the PIC 16 series in assembler. For larger applications such as for PIC 18 we prefer C.

For simple PC control and monitoring applications, typically communicating to our electronic designs via RS232, we can develop C++ windows front ends. We are capable of handing large software projects written in Java and, C or C++.

For higher level control we have added embedded web servers to our applications so that they can be configured and monitored remotely via a dial-in browser.

Our expertise in electronic design complements our software skills. Often a tricky problem in one domain is easily handled in the other.

Manufacture and supply

A M Bromley Limited manage the manufacture and supply of finished products from populated circuit boards to complete product assemblies including machined enclosures and wire assemblies:

* prototypes for customer validation
* production volume from 1 off to 1000"s per month.

Through hole, surface mount and mixed technology assemblies are supplied using a local network of sub-contractors. We deal with several component suppliers to get reliable supply and best prices. All products are serial numbered, batch traceable and 100% tested. Automatic test equipment is used where possible.

Our Products

We design, control and distribute our own products.
The designs have been rigorously tested and all are CE compliant when used as specified. We have EMC emissions testing in-house and use an independent test house for final certification. The complete range of thermostats comply to BS EN 60730.

Celsia Zone Controller is a wireless 7 day programmable temperature controller. For use with electric heaters and radiators. The receiver and heater control is integrated in the appliance at manufacture.
