Sanmina-SCI's Guadalajara Facility Receives Key Automotive Certification

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sanmina-SCI Corporation (Nasdaq: SANM), a leading global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company, today announced that its Guadalajara, Mexico facility has successfully passed the registration audit for ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification, the highest international standard for the automotive industry.

ISO/TS 16949 is an international quality-management system certification that aligns existing American (QS-9000), German (VDA6.1), French (EAQF) and Italian (AVSQ) automotive quality systems into a single standard, eliminating the need for multiple certifications. ISO/TS 16949 certification acknowledges that Sanmina-SCI's Guadalajara facility has the necessary systems and processes in place for the design, development, manufacturing, installation and servicing of automotive-related products.

SIRIUS and Sirenza Microdevices to Introduce New Ultra-Low Profile Antenna for SIRIUS Satellite Radio

First-of-its-Kind Disc-Shaped Antenna is Thinnest Available

NEW YORK and BROOMFIELD, Colo., July 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) and Sirenza Microdevices (NASDAQ:SMDI) today announced they are introducing a small, ultra-low profile, high-performance antenna for SIRIUS that is the thinnest ever produced for satellite radio.

The new disc-shaped antenna has been designed by Sirenza to optimally receive and amplify digital signals from SIRIUS' satellites and terrestrial repeaters. The antenna is magnetically mounted to the roof of vehicles, and is designed to operate with various SIRIUS radio receivers.
